I’m a British woman in her late thirties with a late diagnosis on the autism spectrum. I live in the North East of England with my partner and two children.

Here I’m hoping to  share my writing, thoughts, feelings and experiences about life in general, art, literature, relationships, and life on the spectrum.

I was formerly writing at yorkshirewords.com, and @yorkshirewords on Twitter. Now tweeting as @radiantwrites.

I was for a while troubled with a haunting fear that if I handled the flower freely its bloom would fade–the sweet charm of freshness would leave it. I did not then know that it was no transitory blossom, but rather the radiant resemblance of one, cut in an indestructible gem. – Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
